Bishop / Stake President Administrative Action

Once a copy of your resignation letter has reached your local Ward Bishop, the Bishop of the LDS Ward that you live in must fill out a request entitled, "Request for administrative action". This details your request to have your membership removed. The Bishop must then forward a copy of said letter to the Stake President.

The Stake President will fill out the necessary information on the "administrative action", and then place the form aside for a 30 day waiting period.

At this point you have to wait 30 days. No amount of legal threats will change the process. They will force you to wait 30 days regardless as they are following the "Church Handbook Of Instructions"
